Garden offices in County Cork

A garden office you can work in every day.

Working from the kitchen table stops being charming after a month. A garden office gives you a room with a door, proper heat, proper light and enough quiet for calls, twenty seconds from your back door.

No obligation, and a fixed price confirmed after your survey.

Why a garden office

A commute of twenty seconds, and a door that closes.

  1. Separation

Work stays in the room. The house goes back to being the house at the end of the day.

  2. Quiet for calls

Away from the hall, the kitchen and the rest of the household, so video meetings are not an event.

  3. Warm in winter

Insulated throughout and heated, so January is no different to June.

  4. No rent

No desk fees, no monthly licence, and the room is still there at the end of the year.

How it is built

Built as a room, not as a shed.

What is included in a garden office
BaseReinforced concrete base, poured to suit the ground on your site
InsulationWalls, floor and roof insulated so the room holds its heat
Power and lightSockets, lighting and heating installed by a qualified electrician
InsideFinished walls, flooring and skirting, ready to move a desk into
Built byMunster Renovate's own carpenters, from survey to handover
Planning permission

In most cases you will not need it.

Since July 2026, a garden office of up to 30m² to the rear of your home is generally exempt from planning permission, subject to height limits and leaving at least 25m² of private garden. Existing sheds count towards that total. We confirm the position for your property at the survey.
